Hey there!

I’m Sarah - the designer, photographer, and Pacific Northwest mama behind Braevin. I’m an extroverted introvert, enneagram one, wannabe plant lady, and undercover essential oil-er. When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me outside running, dreaming up our next house project, or trying to keep my toddler from eating dirt out of the plants. I’m deeply connected to my family and friends, love the early morning hours, passionate about my faith, and a homebody to my core.

What started as a small portrait and wedding photography business in 2010 has morphed into a one-stop-shop creative studio bringing small business stories to life with simplicity, authenticity and ease.

So, what’s with the name?

The meaning behind my business name comes from John 15:5, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing”.

In order for my business to succeed, I must be rooted in The Vine. The word “BRAEVIN” is simply a blend of the words BRANCH and VINE as a constant reminder of where my roots are planted.
