The Edit: Fall 2020

Fall is looking a little different around here these days as we get to enjoy my favorite season with our new baby boy! Ezra Wayne Peterson was born on September 26th and we have been soaking in all of the newborn snuggles, sleepless nights and crisp Fall walks. I’m back from maternity leave now and working on balancing being a mama and running a business, which is no easy task. But learning to have grace with myself, and pray for nice long naps so I can get some things done. :) This post is full of what I was pinning, scrolling through, listening to, reading and shopping (so much online shopping…) during my maternity leave this Fall!

pinning

The usual: style and home inspo thrown in with client project research. Feeling all the warm and cozy Fall vibes. Follow along on Pinterest here.

scrolling

Here’s a few accounts I’ve been scrolling through lately. Some I’ve followed for years, others are newer to my feed, and all of them are absolutely worth checking out!

  • @takingcarababies My go-to resource these days for all things BABY SLEEP. We bought her newborn course and it has been such a game changer for us. Little man will be sleeping through the night in no time!

  • @angelarosehome I could binge watch her Instagram stories all day long. She’s a DIY master and her projects are so inspiring!

  • @senaenelson A beautiful mix of family, style, photography and their journey of living in London - the cutest fam!

listening

Needtobreathe’s long awaited album has been on repeat in our house, along with Justin Bieber’s single “Holy”. (Did you see him preform it on SNL? If you weren’t already a #belieber, you will be after watching this!) Also counting down the days until Christmas music season begins. :)

what’s currently on my bookshelf

Risen Motherhood - About to dive into this book with a girlfriend and I can hardly wait for the encouragement I’m confident it will bring!

Secrets of the Baby Whisperer - Flew through this one during maternity leave. The “Eat + Awake + Sleep” method has worked really well for Ezra, and it’s definitely a book I will re-read!

Pure Delicious - I was recently gifted this new cookbook and I’m SO excited to start trying some of the recipes! I’m egg and almond free, so the fact that it’s allergy friendly makes my life so much easier!

Midnight Lullabies - I have this devo next to the rocking chair in the nursery and it has been such a sweet daily read while I’m feeding the little man.

shopping list

A little bit of Christmas prep, some postpartum wardrobe purchases and ALL the Christmas jammies for Ezra. Can hardly wait for the holiday season!

I hope you enjoy scrolling through these as much as I enjoy writing them. Time to work on wrapping up the year, prepping for the holidays, Christmas shopping and snuggling our sweet boy!
